Old Fashioned Ice Cream Float With A Twist

    by Jessica

I hope you love this delicious Old Fashioned Ice Cream Float recipe as much as my family does!

Old Fashioned Ice Cream Float With A TwistTypically, when you hear the words ice cream float, you think of a root beer float. Well, when I was growing up, my Aunt Irene made us a Ginger Ale Ice Cream Float every time we stayed with her. They were my absolute favorite treat ever! They are so delicious, but I thought I would give it a little twist and make a caramel macchiato ginger ale ice cream float...you know, just give it a little more flavor!

You will need a can of ginger ale, some vanilla ice cream and International Delight Caramel Macchiato creamer.

Add 3-4 scoops of vanilla ice cream to a glass or mason jar.

Next, add about two tablespoons of ID Caramel Macchiato creamer.

Fill the rest of your glass with ginger ale.

You can also drizzle a little caramel onto the top of the ice cream. Doesn't it look delicious? It's a nice sweet, but not too sweet ice cream treat. It kind of reminds me of a cream soda, but is so much better! It's the perfect treat for adults and kiddos too!
