It’s that time of year…time to send the kiddos back to school! Time to get back to packing lunches, dreaded car line, waking early, homework and tons of germs. Let’s face it, we send our kids to school, and they bring all that germy goodness right back home. It never fails! One of them always ends up sick by week two…ugh. Well, this year, I’m taking a few extra steps to ensure that they stay just a little cleaner. Take Kate’s lunch for instance. I throw in a Wet Ones Individual into her lunch bag every day now along with a paper towel. I encourage her to use the Wet Ones before she eats her lunch. Think about it…she’s already shared pens and pencils, touched multiple desks, and who knows what else. Then she’s going to touch her food. By cleaning her hands before she eats, she is keeping the germs away!
Wet Ones Wipes are kill 99.99 percent of germs, are hypoallergenic, and contain
aloe and lanolin so they’re easy on skin for even the littlest of hands. They are
available at mass, drug, and grocery stores nationwide. For more information, visit
I slipped a pack of Wet Ones in her backpack to use in case she encounters a sticky desk or needs to wash her hands after an activity during the day when a restroom is not available for hand washing. We aren’t crazy germaphobes or anything…just trying to keep it clean.
And of course we keep a canister of Wet Ones in our car…these are more for me than anyone. See, I’m a little messy and known to spill coffee on myself while driving. Ermmm…yeah, I’m kind of a mess. You know when they really come in handy? During tailgating. Picture eating hot wings with no place to wash your hands. And…port-a-potties. Yeah…gross.
And when you have an empty canister, you can turn it into a water bottle holder like Kate did, HERE!
Stay clean my friends!
