Making handmade Christmas ornaments is such a nice tradition to start for your family, and this Jingle Bells Scrabble Christmas Ornament is so easy to make that your kids can help!
This year, I am in love with the word, Jingle! I don't know why, it just seems so fun and Christmasy. So, for Day 9 of The 12 Days of Christmas Ornaments, I am sharing a sweet Jingle Bells Scrabble Christmas Ornament! To see all 144 Handmade Ornaments from the 12 Days, click HERE!
I started with some old Scrabble pieces that I have held onto to use in various crafts, some glittery ribbon, some jingle bells and a hot glue gun.
I strung 3 bells onto the ribbon and pulled them down so I could flip the ribbon over at the top to make a hoop to hang the ornament from. I simply used hot glue to adhere the ribbon to itself.
Next, I got glued my scrabble pieces to the ribbon spelling out J-I-N-G-L-E.
I cut the bottom of the ribbon a little and that's it! It doesn't get much easier than that, friends!
Of course, you could spell any word out you like, and you could absolutely leave the bells off, but I love them. I think I will make a few more that say Joy, Noel, Snow and maybe even my kiddos' names!
