Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and I've got a few special people on my gift list. I like to give my kids a little something on Valentine's Day and I thought this year, we would send a little bit of love to some other special people in our lives too. I love the idea of a gift basket, but not one that you just order online. I like the idea of giving a basket a little handmade touch and filling it with goodies and adding a cute little tag! I think it just makes the recipient feel a little extra love! I'm making some cute Color Dipped Baskets filled with tons of Hershey's candies and treats. There so simple to make, and I'm also sharing the free printable Happy Valentine's Day gift tags too!

I am a Hershey Sponsored Blogger. All ideas, photos and opinions are 100% mine!

All you need to make a color dipped basket is an inexpensive basket, some painter's tape, acrylic paint and a foam paint brush.

Decide how thick you want your bottom stripe to be and tape it off using the painter's tape. Use the foam brush to paint your stripe. It may take two coats. Before the paint fully dries, be sure to remove the tape.

Once the paint dries, you can add a piece of ribbon all the way around the basket if you like. Then, tie on one of my cute Valentine's Tags (you can find and print them below), fill with Hershey's goodies like Reese’s Conversation Cups and Hershey’s Kisses Conversation Candies and share the love! #HSYMessageOfLove

I love the way my baskets turned out! This year we are Celebrating With Hershey's and giving these gift baskets to our kiddos, their teachers and some of our neighbors too!
