I’ve been looking for healthier alternatives to carbs lately, and zoodles are the perfect substitution for pasta. I’m not on any kind of diet, just trying to eat a little more healthy and cut the complex carbohydrates as often as I can. I have to be honest, at first, I didn’t know if zucchini noodles would cut it, but I absolutely love them and so does the rest of my family. We’ve been making them for a couple of years using this Method for Cooking Zucchini Noodles and have made many of these Zucchini Noodle Recipes. They are so versatile and can be enjoyed cooked or raw…it’s totally your preference.

How Do You Make Zucchini Noodles?

Start by using a spiralizer. You simply place your zucchini on the base of the spiralizer and twist the knob. On the other side, you end up with perfect zucchini noodles! I love this Briefton Spiralizer for my zoodles, and it works great on tons of vegetables! If you have a Kitchen Aid mixer, THIS spiralizer attachment may be a better option.

Place the zucchini on the spiralizer and turn the nob until the entire zucchini is zoodled.
