Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs are a true sign of Easter…they are the first thing my kiddos grab out of their baskets, and are quickly hidden away in their rooms so they won’t be stolen by each other. As soon as they are available in store, they love to Celebrate with Hershey’s, and they beg for them…there is just something about those Peanut Butter Eggs that they love! This year, i thought it would be fun to use them and make some fun Reese’s Peanut Butter Egg Pops! They are so easy to make and add a little fun to the whole peanut butter egg eating experience!
Obviously, you are going to need some Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs to start with. Before starting, I placed mine in the refrigerator for an hour so they would be nice and firm and wouldn’t melt while we were decorating them.
We used icing pens to decorate them with cute polka dots, stripes and swirls, then dusted them with some sugar sprinkles and inserted cake pot sticks into the bottoms of the eggs.
They turned out so cute, and the kiddos thought they were fun. We will be making some to send to Kate’s school as a spring treat for her friends.
They are easy to nibble on too! No sticky chocolate fingers here!
I loved finding a new way for my kids to enjoy their favorite Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs! How do you eat yours?
