It's a new year, which means everyone is making all kinds of crazy resolutions. My biggest resolution for the new year is to do a better job of planning our family meals. Too often, the kids or Matt ask what we are having for dinner in the afternoon, and my response is, "I don't know, I haven't even thought about it yet." This means I'm either throwing something together last minute, which completely stresses me out, or we are going out for dinner, which can get really expensive. In the past, I have found that when I make a menu and shop for that menu, I not only have a plan, but I also get really excited about cooking dinner. Matt and the kids also are excited for what we are having because they know what to expect. To help us all get better at menu planning, I asked my friend and fellow blogger, Rachel from R&R Workshop to make a couple of Printable Menu Planners for me with shopping lists. I stink at printable making, so she really saved the day!
These printable weekly menu planners are perfect for meal planning. You can either print one out each week and fill it out...
Or, you can slide one into a plastic sleeve and use a dry erase marker to fill it out. This way you can use your menu planner over and over again without wasting printer ink. There are two options below...you simply need to click on the photo or link and download the printable pdf. If you try to print the images below without downloading, they will not print properly and you will have a mini menu planner. Just click, download and print!

These menu planners make planning meals and sticking to those plans so much easier. Having the shopping list attached makes it easier to make sure you have exactly what you need from the grocery store too. I hope it will make meal planning easier for your family too! I'll be saving my weekly menus in a binder so I can reference them in the future when I run out of meal ideas.
