Hi again, Mom 4 Real readers! I’m Abby from Just a Girl and Her Blog, and I’m so excited to be back sharing another fun printable with you today! The last time I was here, I talked about my process for setting weekly goals and scheduling time to accomplish them. Today I’m sharing a goal chart that I’ve recently started using with my kiddos. I am a goals person and want my kids to get into the habit of setting goals, so a chart like this one provides a visual representation of that concept and gives me an opening to talk to them about it too.
While my own goals sheets have categories and sub categories and action steps and time blocking, I definitely wanted to keep it more simple for the kids– one step at a time! There is a place to fill in their name and their goals and a space to mark off their successes each day. I made a blue and orange one for the boys…

And added a little pink for the girls…

For my five year old son Connor, I printed out our chart and laminated it, and we use a wet erase marker to check off his completed goals. That way at the end of the week, I can just wipe it clean and start over the next week! When listing his goals, I included chores and responsibilities around the house but also other things we’ve been working on like spending time practicing his Kindermusik lesson, setting aside more time for reading each day, and working in physical activity even when it’s too cold to go outside.
Con really loves to check items off as he completes them. Not only does this chart help him see all he has accomplished, but it is also a great reminder to me to encourage him to work on different things throughout the day. Hopefully it will also help him get into the habit of setting goals for himself and making the time to accomplish them.
For more ideas on setting goals and getting organized with printables, feel free to pop over and visit me at Just a Girl and Her Blog! Most recently I’ve shared my budget binder…
…and my home binder as well!
Both binder posts include all of the free printables you need to make your own, so be sure to come on over and snag some for yourself! Thanks again to Jessica for letting me share with you all today! Have a wonderful week!

Thanks, Jasey! You rock!!! xoxo Jessica
I ADORE these charts! I printed them last weekend for my three older kids (8-12) and they have checked off every single thing on their list for seven days. I love them so much I am going to make them a before school and after school version.
Thank you so much!
