    A Christmas Decor Sneak Peek

    by Jessica 4 Comments

    Christmas-Mantel

This year, I have dreams of a woodland Christmas. I am not usually a themed Christmas kind of girl, but this year, I think I may be! I really want our home to feel like a quaint cottage in the woods, surrounded by woodland animals and pine trees. A girl can pretend, right? I am so excited to get started this year, that well...I already jumped in! And wait til I tell you where I found all of my woodland goodies...you will never believe it!

    Woodland-Christmas

I found a treasure trove of woodland Christmas Goodies at...wait for it...Big Lots! Kate and I were out doing a little shopping last week when I stumbled upon the Christmas section at Big Lots and my heart did a little pitter patter when I saw their shelves full of Christmas decor with a natural theme. I mean, isn't that little deer to die for? And...the white pinecone Christmas trees??? I had to have them!

The greatest thing is that the prices were so reasonable, shocking actually. The merchandise is all great quality, there is an amazing selection, and I had such a great time hunting for the best bargains! Want to see my favorite things that made it home with me?

    Gold-Deer

This gold sequin deer was the first thing in my buggy...isn't he beautiful? I don't usually decorate in gold, but after seeing him, I decided to incorporate a little gold into my Christmas decor and go with a mixed metals and white theme along with incorporating lots of woodland touches.

    Polar-bears

These little bottle brush polar bears were Kate's favorite. She jumped up and down in the isle and begged me to get them...she didn't have to beg much, they were too adorable to leave behind!

    Christmas-Big-Lots

I grabbed so many things from Big Lots Christmas decor section, and ventured out through the store to find a few decor items that weren't necessarily Christmas themed, but I'm going to dress them up a little...plus, I can reuse them throughout the year! Whoop!

I can't wait to get started decorating, and I can't wait to show you all of the details!
