Fall is finally here, which means it's time to bring on the apple cider, pumpkin beer and of course, bourbon! This Pumpkin Beer and Bourbon Apple Cider Cocktail is sure to become your go to fall drink. It's perfectly balanced and just screams fall!

Pumpkin Beer and Bourbon Apple Cider Cocktail

Here in Kentucky, we are all about the bourbon. There are so many amazing distilleries, and one of our absolute favorites is Buffalo Trace Distillery. My husband is somewhat of a bourbon collector, so we visit the distillery often and try to snag whatever bourbon they have available at the time. The great thing about Matt's collection is that he doesn't save them...he actually opens them and enjoys them. He prefers to enjoy most of them neat, meaning bourbon poured over ice, but sometimes he likes to enjoy his bourbon in a cocktail. I recently made him this Pumpkin Beer and Bourbon Apple Cider Cocktail, and he said it is his favorite drink I've made him! It may sound complicated, but I promise it's super easy to make and your friends will be so impressed when you serve it to them.

What's in a Pumpkin Beer and Bourbon Apple Cider Cocktail?

    • 2 ounces of bourbon
    • ½ ounce of lemon juice
    • 2 ½ ounces of apple cider
    • 3 ounces of pumpkin beer (we used Dog Fish Head Punkin Ale)
    • apple slice and cinnamon stick for garnish (optional)
