Hey there Mom 4 Real readers! It’s Abby from Just a Girl and Her Blog and — SURPRISE! — no organizational printable this month! {And speaking of surprises, I have a fun one at the end of the post, so don’t miss it!} As much as I love organization and lists, I thought I’d bring you something a little different today. I have been busy getting our house all decked out for summer– changing out my seasonal floating shelves, coming up with some fun door decor, prepping for picnics and get-togethers– and while I was at it, I whipped up some pretty 4th of July printables! But I just couldn’t keep them all to myself; I thought I’d make it easy to get into the patriotic spirit by sharing them with you as well! These free 4th of July printables will make a beautiful addition to your summer decor!
“God Bless America” has always been one of my favorite patriotic songs. Not only does it fill me with pride for our country every time I hear it, but I also love the reminder to pray for our country and our leaders each day.
And ever since I first saw this play on words from the Star Spangled Banner, I knew I had to use it in my home somewhere. We are so blessed to be able to live in a safe and free country because of the brave men and women who have fought and are fighting for our freedom.
Both prints come in a 5×7 size. I printed them out on a piece of white cardstock and used my paper cutter to slice nice clean edges. Then I just had to pop them in some frames, and I was done! Easiest 4th of July decor ever? I think so! These could work on a mantel or floating shelf or even as part of a patriotic centerpiece; use them as a set or individually– the sky is the limit!

Oh, and remember that little surprise I promised you? Well, today happens to be a very big day. Not only is it my 30th birthday today, but I am also launching my very first eBook! {Midlife crisis much? ;) } When I started blogging in January 2013, I had absolutely no clue what I was doing. I learned a TON my first year, and when I started getting email after email asking me about my blogging strategies, I decided to write down everything I know in an eBook in order to help new bloggers get started and to give veteran bloggers a different perspective as well. My book Building a Framework: Everything I Learned My First Year of Blogging covers it all– from how I set up my blog in the first place to how I grew my following, worked with brands like IKEA and Staples, and was making more money each month by end of my first year than I had in my previous part time job!
Want to know more? Come visit me and check out all the details like the table of contents, testimonials from bloggers who’ve read the book, and even a sample chapter! If you are a blogger or have ever considered starting a blog, you won’t want to miss this! Hope to see you there!!
