It's one of the worst kind of stains, and sometimes doesn't come out in the wash. That's why it is important to clean the stain by hand before washing. The good news is that it only takes a few minutes and for the most part, it will remove grease stains with very little work!

What You Need to Get Butter and Grease Out of Clothes
- Microfiber cleaning cloth ( Purchase HERE )
- Dish liquid ( Purchase HERE )
- Toothbrush
- Warm Water
How to Remove Butter Stains from Clothes
Time needed: 5 minutes.
How to Remove Butter and Grease from Clothing
- Gently blot the stain.
Do not rub the stain or it could spread. Gently dab the butter or grease stain with a clean, dry cloth removing as much of the stain as possible.
- Apply dish liquid to the stain.
Apply a few drops of dish liquid to the stain and rub it in using your fingers.
- Spray the stain with warm water.
Turn the shirt or other item over onto a clean towel and spray the stain generously with warm water.
- Gently scrub the stain with a soft bristle toothbrush.
- Wash and dry.
Wash the piece of clothing according to the item's care instructions.
- All clean!
