How To Get a Clean Washing Machine Naturally

    by Jessica 4 Comments

I use my washing machine daily, so it really takes a beating. It's not something that you would normally think needs cleaning itself since it constantly has water and detergent running through it, but debris, mold and mildew can hide away in different parts of your washing machine and cause odors and even damage your clothes. It's super easy to clean it though and only takes a few minutes of your time to get the job started! I'm going to show you just how to get a clean washing machine naturally with only 1 household ingredient and almost zero elbow grease!

In my latest article for eHow, I show you step by step how to clean your washing machine HERE. My tutorial is for top loading machines, but you can use the same steps to clean your front loading machine as well. I hope this tutorial will inspire you to clean your washing machine more often and hopefully helps improve the longevity of your washer too!

My laundry detergent and liquid fabric softener are mixed 1/2 and 1/2 with vinegar. Do I need to wash my washer since I run vinegar every load?
