How To Create A Pinterest Board That Is Theme Specific and Organize Your Pins

Recently, I had a reader ask me how she could save all of my posts in one place, and my first thought was that they are all right here on the blog. Then I got to thinking, maybe there is an easier way. So, I told her she could create a board in Pinterest and call it Mom 4 Real Cleaning Hacks and pin my posts there so they would all be handy. She responded back letting me know that she didn’t know how to create a board in Pinterest, so I thought I would take the time and put together a quick tutorial showing How To Create A Pinterest Board that is theme specific and share it with you!

Some of you may already know how to create new boards, and for you, I’d like to share how I use some of the boards I created to keep track of all sorts of things. I of course keep all of my cleaning posts in one place, but I also have a board called Family Favorite Meals where I pin and save recipes that I want to make or that I have made and really love. I also have some home decor boards that I pin beautiful cottage inspiration too…you know, so that when I buy my little beach cottage and retire, I’ll have all kinds of ideas at the ready so I can decorate it ;)  If you’d like to see my boards and get a better idea, you can check out my Pinterest Boards HERE and follow if you like or click the Follow button below!

At one time, I saw a post on how to separate your pins to different boards, i.e. beef, pork, bread, casseroles and etc. I know have some specific board by being careful to put the pins under the correct pin. But in the earlier pins, I had tacked everything under the generic Julia’s Bord. Now I’d really like to get them under the correct board and I can’t find how. Can you help me with this? Many thanks in advance.

Hi, Julia! To make more specific boards, use the Add Boards option from your Pinterest home page. You can add more specific boards one at a time. Then, you can go to your Julia’s Board and repin those pins to your new more specific boards. Does that make sense?
