There are tons of different disinfecting cleansers that you can buy in the stores, but most of them are filled with chemicals, and we have cut out as many chemicals in our home as possible. But, I want things to be clean, and I’m not in love with germs, so having an alternative is important to me. Today, I’m going to share my favorite Homemade Disinfecting Spray! It works wonders and I can feel good about my countertops and tables being germ free!
To make this awesome cleaner, you will need 1/2 Cup of White Vinegar, 1 Teaspoon of Washing Soda, 20 Drops of Tea Tree Oil (Malaleuca), 10 Drops of Orange Oil and 2 Cups of Hot Water. Simply add all of the ingredients to a water spray bottle.
And give it a good shake each time you use it! ***A little side note…when you cut the chemicals out of cleaning products, you are usually cutting out whatever makes the ingredients all stay together. When using essential oils, cleaning solutions typically need to be shaken before using since there is no chemical binder.
Now you can use your disinfecting cleaner to make sure your kitchen and bathroom surfaces are clean and germ free. Simply spray your surface and let sit for a minute or two, then wipe away with a cloth or paper towels!
