This week, I shared a super fun way to use Elmer's Foam Board and Board Mates to make a DIY Dry Erase Board, and today I am going to show you another fun way to use their foam board! Kate and I made the cutest DIY Earring Holder ever...it only took a few supplies and a little bit of paint to make! Here is how we made ours earring storage stand...
We started with an old picture frame and a piece of 8 X 10 foam board.
We used some chevron tape to tape off our foam board because we wanted cute chevron stripes.
Once we had the chevron tape in place, we painted the rest of the board. While the paint was still wet, we pullled the shape tape off.
I took the frame outside and gave it two thin coats of coral spray paint too. Just be sure the paint is all the way dry before the next step!
Now we added a thin bead of glue all the way around the inner lip of the picture frame and placed the foam board chevron side down and let the glue dry overnight.
Once the glue is dry, flip your frame over and use a nail to add holes to the foam board. You will want to use one hand to hold the back of the board and your other hand to poke the holes through the foam. That is it! Now you have an instand storage stand for all of your cute earrings!
Isn't it simply adorable? The great thing is that you can customize this stand to fit the decor of any room! Kate is getting ready to turn 11, so we are redecorating her room in aqua and coral, so this works for her!

I was wondering if stud earrings, that require backings, could go on here easily?
Jessica says
They can, you'd just have to store the earring backs elsewhere, like maybe in a small bowl. Hope this helps!
