In this post, I’m sharing My Typical Day on Nutrisystem!
Week two on Nutrisystem has been amazing! Y’all, I haven’t felt this good in a long time and I have so much energy. I’ve been walking at least 30 minutes per day for exercise and have been eating my Nutrisystem meals and snacks…and I’m down 5 lbs!!
I have heard from quite a few of you that you just weren’t sure if you would like the food well enough to follow the program, but I have to tell ya, I’m a food snob and I love it! I thought it would be a good idea to share exactly what I eat on a typical day. I took pictures throughout the day to show you just what I get to eat…and I use the term “get to eat,” because I honestly can’t believe I get to eat these things and am losing weight!
My morning starts at 7am when I wake up to get Kate ready for school. This morning I had the Nutrisystem Thick Sliced French Toast with strawberries and a little bit of maple syrup. Now I don’t normally eat French toast or pancakes, but it sure is nice to have them and feel guilt free! So delish too!
Around 10am I grab a snack while I am replying to emails. Today, I had Nutrisystem’s Milk Chocolate Flavored Pretzels. Umm, let me tell you that eating chocolate covered pretzels makes replying to emails so much more fun – this Lean 13 program is almost too good to be true!
For lunch I had a Nutrisystem Four Cheese Melt sandwich, a small side salad, and a dab of dressing. These are awesome for days where I’m crunched for time. I’ve taken a few of these to my office freezer to have during the day when I am super busy with photo shoots, and they are sooo yummy and filling.
Now in the day is when my snacking cravings tend to hit. It’s the afternoon and I’m about to jump in the car and take a spot in the dreaded car-line at Kate’s school. Before leaving the house I popped a Nutrisystem Red Velvet Whoopie Pie into my microwave (just 10 seconds) until it was perfectly warm and gooey. I was ready to face the car-line after this sweet treat!
For dinner I prepared Nutrisystem’s Roasted Turkey Medallions with Mashed Potatoes. I paired with roasted Brussels sprouts for some added green veggies. I’ll tell you, this is a hearty meal folks, and delicious to boot!
Now enter TV time, a snacking trap if ever I met one! I was mid-viewing, crying my eyes out watching “This Is Us” when chocolate started calling my name. I treated myself to Nutrisystem’s Chocolate Brownie Sundae Cup. Ladies, this is a heavenly treat – dreamy!!
I am so happy to be able to not only enjoy food again without feeling guilty, but also enjoy life to its fullest with more energy and pep in my step! Since I’m not carrying my food guilt around any more, I am finding myself appreciating things more and more. It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you put all of that behind you. With the 5 pounds I’ve lost so far I can feel my jeans loosening and my face even seems a bit thinner. I cannot wait to continue my journey with Nutrisystem!
