I’m a super busy mom, and if you are a long time reader, then you know I am constantly testing new ideas and tips to share with you…other busy moms and dads too! There are many days that I find myself having to grab something to eat quickly while I’m trying to get work done, and that can lead to some pretty bad decisions. Today I want to share my new favorite snack for busy moms and dads alike!
Right now I’ve got a ton of things in the works. Tons of new cleaning tips and tricks to share with you, a book is in the works, and I’m opening a new area of the blog just for bloggers that are looking for help and resources. So, to say I’m a little busy is a bit of an understatement. While all of this craziness is going on, I’ve found myself eating on the go a ton and making some really bad food choices. I have been making myself take 30 minutes to jump on the treadmill every day, but meals are falling to foods of convenience. I’ve tried many “convenience” foods and they are either not so good for me, or they taste like cardboard. Well, I finally found the answer to my snack dilemma…I have fallen totally in love with the Fiber One Cheesecake Bar! It’s the perfect snack for this busy mom and bonus…my husband loves them too!
These Cheesecake Bars are delicious and can take me from hangry ( angry + hungry = hangry) to completely satisfied in just a few minutes. They taste amazing, and make me feel like I’m getting a little taste of dessert without the guilt that usually follows dessert! not a huge br eakfast person, so I like to have a Fiber One Cheesecake Bar with my cup of coffee in the morning. It’s a great way for me to get my day started. I have also been known to enjoy them for a snack during car line time. These little Fiber One Cheesecake Bars really pack a punch!
I am so in love with the Fiber One Cheesecake bars…I actually look forward to breakfast now, where I used to skip that meal and wait until lunch to eat. Then because I was really hungry, I would grab something convenient and unhealthy. Now I am more aware of what I am putting in my body and feel better at the end of the day.
I know we are all busy running our kiddos around, taking care of grandkids, and just getting through busy work days. It’s my hope that we can all take a quick step back and make it a priority to take care of ourselves too! It’s time to put ourselves back on the list!
