Hey, friends! Ya’ll know how much I love my plants right? I have about 10 indoor houseplants and tons of plants and flowers on my patio and in our flower beds. The only thing that makes me completely crazy is having to water them all of the time. Some of them require tons of watering, some of them very little…it can get a little tricky. When NIMBUS contacted me and asked if I would like to try the NIMBUS self watering planter, I was super excited!
The 12″ NIMBUS Intelligent Watering Pot will keep your plants watered for up to 4 months per fill. It will send enough water to the soil of your plant as needed…so you don’t have to try to guess if your plants need watering. One of the things I hear from my readers that don’t have a “green thumb” is that they can’t figure out how often to water their plants. They either over water them and drown them or they under water them and they just die. The NIMBUS pot takes the guess work out of it!
You simply add the filter to the inside of the pot, then fill the pot with soil and either add seeds, a plant or flowers of your choice. There is a plug on the bottom of the pot where you can choose whether you are going to be using it indoors or outdoors.
Once you have planted your plant, seeds or flowers, fill the reservoir with water and insert the handle.
When the blue float drops down in the handle, you will know it’s time to refill the reservoir with water…easy enough, right?
The NIMBUS pot can be used alone or tucked down into a decorative flower pot or basket. I am thinking about stenciling a design on mine! I love that the NIMBUS takes the worry out of watering! If you love plants like me or even if you don’t have a green thumb, this is the pot for you!
More amazing news…Houseworks Group USA has received the Red Dot Award for Product Design 2015 for its NIMBUS Intelligent Watering System™, a self-contained and self-watering pot that can water plants for four-plus months. The international Red Dot jury awarded the title honorable mention for a particularly well-executed aspect of design work to NIMBUS. Whoop!!! Happy planting my friends!
