It's day 5 of the 12 Days of Christmas Ornaments, and I want to share a new rendition of an my Painted Snowman Glass Ornament. Below, you can find the Glitter In Glass Version I made a couple of years ago (just click the picture to view that post)!
I'm so happy to be a part of this fabulous series, and by day 12, there should be 144 handmade ornaments for you to see in all! You can click HERE to find them all! Today, I'm going to show you how to make this ornament without a paintbrush or glitter...
For this ornament, you will need clear glass or plastic globe ornaments, faux snow or cotton and paint markers. I love my Elmer's Paint Markers, and they are perfect for glass painting!
Use a funnel to fill your glass globe with faux snow. You may need to use something to poke the snow down into the ornament.
First, paint on the eyes.
Then paint on five dots (not perfect) for the smile. Remember, they should look like coal, so shouldn't be completely circular.
Now draw/paint on the carrot nose and paint the cap!
Tie a little string to the top and hang from your tree! Isn't he the cutest?
