This post is not for the faint of heart...it's a real keepin' it real kind of post, because I am going to show you just how filthy my kitchen was. I'm also going to tell you how to sanitize and clean your kitchen the easy way...like the easiest way ever!
Yep, this little baby will sanitize your entire kitchen like nobody's business. I know what you're thinking...really Jessica? You are trying to sell me something? Nope...I'm just going show you what this baby did...the low down dirty disgustingness that was my kitchen before, the during, and the sweet cleanliness of the after! You make your own choice....
Meet the HomeRight C800880 SteamMachine Steamer for Steam Cleaning and Wallpaper Removal
from HOMERIGHT. It's a compact steamer with so many fabulous attachments that will revolutionize the way you clean. No more elbow grease, just let the steam do the cleaning! There are attachments that will make it possible to clean so many surfaces, that you may actually get excited and squealy like I did when I read all of the things that I could clean with it... floors, bathroom shower doors and walls, fireplace doors, windows, bathroom fixtures, around your toilet, faucets, marble and granite countertops, tile and linoleum floors, and even your grill or oven!!! The beauty of this lovely contraption is that you don't have to use any cleaning supplies...the steam does the cleaning and sanitizing! Did I mention that you could even remove wallpaper with this baby?
Now let's get to the embarrassing part...the filth. Cut me a break though, my kids have been home all Summer, which means there have been many microwave pizzas cooked in my microwave. Yep...that's the filthy inside of my microwave.
I simply attached the small nylon brush to the end of my steam wand, let it heat up for a few minutes and lightly moved the wand back and forth on the inside of my microwave. You can't see the steam very well in the photo, but it is steaming off all of the burnt on pieces of food...yay!
And this is my microwave after...all clean, with no scrubbing!
Like I said, no judging! This is the lower front panel at the bottom of my refrigerator. To be honest, I had no idea how dirty it was, but I was on a mission to see what I could clean with my SteamMachine, so I decided to clean the fridge from bottom to top.
Can you see the difference already? The steam just knocks the dirt and grime right off!
That area where the water and ice are dispensed stays gross. It doesn't matter how many times I bleach it, within days, it's gross again, and that is a stain. I tried scrubbing it, and it wouldn't budge...stay tuned to see if that is still there...
That would be a negative! I steam cleaned the doors and handles too, so now my fridge is all sparkly clean!
And now for the dishwasher...um, grody to the max!
Throw a little steam on that gunk...
So now that everything else is clean, time to tackle the floors. This is not typical...I ummm errr promise. That my friends is pizza sauce, and it's not new. It may just be from 3 days ago...
I can't tell you how dirty the floors in our home get. We have two kids, a cat, and a very large dog, so they get dirty quickly. I can honestly say, the large cleaning brush with cloth took all the grime and well, pizza sauce off with ease! You may think you see a little spot left here or there, but those are chips in my tile :( I wish my HomeRight C800880 SteamMachine Steamer for Steam Cleaning and Wallpaper Removal
could fix those!
Now my kitchen is sanitized and sparkly clean!

I need one of those for my bathroom. The shower gives me fits!
While I was impressed by your clean kitchen, I got distracted by the pillow in your kitchen chair. What is that fabric? I've just been looking for fabrics for my office, and that one caught my eye. Do tell.
Thanks.
Jessica says
Thanks, Amy! That is actually fabric from a shower curtain I bought at Kirklands! I made valances and a cushion out of it!

I have this same steamer and I absolutely love it. I steam my furniture, dogs bed, ceramic in shower, walls and floor. I pull out everything in my cupboards and steam them as well, you can't imagine how much build up that you get inside your cupboards until you clean, dust minimal because the doors are closed, but the film from cooking yuk. I swear by this machine it cuts the work load in half and fantastic on grout.

MJ says
Okay, I agree it looks clean, but I have to ask...where did all the gunk GO? It has to be someplace, unless this machine transmogrifies pizza sauce into empty air? When I clean my normal way, I at least have to rinse out the cleaning cloth.
WHERE IS ALL THE GUNK?
Bella says
I agree with mj. So what's he answer
Jessica says
The steam does loosen up whatever is stuck to any surface with no scrubbing by me. I would of course have to use a cloth or paper towel to wipe whatever was left.
Ronnie says
I have a steam machine but you cannot use it on wood and "green' floors,/surfaces, but for tile bathrooms-it literally "the bomb!"
