It's day 4 of the 12 Days of Christmas Ornament series, and today I want to share a super easy and inexpensive Rustic Twig Wreath Ornament! To view all of the other ornaments from this series, click HERE (at the end of the series, there should be 144 handmade ornaments)! You can't get much cheaper than twigs from your yard, right? And...it's super cute too! I really want to incoporate more natural items into our decor this year, and was dying to make a little wreath from twigs, so this little gem was born!
I kind of cheated and used some twigs that I bought in these cute little bundles at Michaels. You will also need a hot glue gun and some ribbon.
Lay your twigs in the shape of a wreath and hot glue the ends together.
Now repeat, layering all the way around.
Once you have stacked it about 4 twigs deap all the way around, tie a small ribbon and hot glue it on the bottom of our wreath, then tie a ribbon or string to the top and hang from your Christmas tree! I think it's so cute, and totally fits with the rustic theme of our tree this year!
