Am I correct in assuming that this is safe for my dog to be around? I have ants inside and want to spray corners, etc but my dog is very inquisitive and I don\’t want to use anything that will hurt her. (i.e. tea tree oil) ThanksCary Walker
Peppermint can be toxic for dogs if inhaled at great concentrations, and I wouldn’t want him to lick it either. However, I have two sweet dogs and I use the peppermint ant spray all of the time. What I do is spray down the area where the ants are present or entering my home while my dog is put away or outside. I let it sit for about 5 minutes, then come by with a damp cloth and wipe it away. The dogs don’t really bother it, but the faint scent has been left behind to keep the ants out….works like a charm! Hope this helps!
