I recently had a friend ask me about ideas for a little girl’s princess birthday party. When Kate was turning 4, we threw her the most adorable princess tea party. We asked her girl friends to wear their fanciest dress up clothes, we draped tool all over the entire downstairs, and had a real tea set for them to use. I made white chocolate dipped pretzel rods, ordered gorgeous cupcakes, and we had apple juice instead of tea. For our crafts, we made princess crowns and fancy beaded necklaces. It was absolutely adorable! This was years ago, before the blog and Pinterest, so I took only a few pictures, and have no idea where they are…probably in a box in the attic. So, I scoured Pinterest for similar ideas, and here they are…
I love the banner across the front, and the layout is absolutely gorgeous!!!
How cool are the balloons and streamers…a very inexpensive way to make a statement!
I love these crowns…super easy to make with scrapbook paper!
What little girl wouldn’t love these marshmallow pops?
These pretzel rods dipped in white chocolate remind me of the ones I made for Kate’s party. We used pink sprinkles, of course! They are one of the easiest treats to make…we called them princess wands!
I got all of these fabulous ideas on Pinterest. If you haven’t explored Pinterest yet, and would like an invitation, just send me and email, and I will send you an invitation! It’s totally free, and such a fun way to find and share ideas for just about anything!
Keep it real!
