Kate and I have been busy bees over here painting pumpkins...it's one of our favorite things to do every fall, and this year we are doing it just a bit differently! I recently saw some cute little Painted Candy Corn Pumpkins at a store and wanted to paint some of my own. So, I grabbed a couple of little white pumpkins and painted them to look like my favorite Halloween candy!
I started with two small white pumpkins....one short and chubby little pumpkin and one tall and skinny one.
Then I grabbed my Elmer's paint markers. These are the most fun to work with! They are paint in markers...no brush required! You simply press down on the tips until the paint comes to the end and then use them just as you would a marker. They were a HUGE hit at our pumpkin painting party, and are now a favorite of mine and Kate!
I just drew a yellow line around the bottom and filled the space in with yellow. Then I made my orange stripe around the middle and filled it in.
Aren't they just the cutest little pumpkins you have ever seen? They definitely make me want to eat a handful of candy corns ;)
Kate made this cute little Watermelon Pumpkin with hers...how stinkin' cute is that???
I can't wait to paint more pumpkins!!!
