This Hot Chocolate Mason Jar Snowman Gift Idea is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of The Hershey Company for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
I just love Christmas...it's the time of year that it's perfectly normal to give gifts to friend, family members and teachers. I love making homemade gifts, especially tasty treats like White Chocolate Peppermint Hot Chocolate using my new favorite treat from The Hershey Company! It's the perfect gift for anyone, and can be given in the cutest form, like this super cute Hot Chocolate Mason Jar Snowman!
You will need 3 4oz. Mason Jars, mini marshmallows, my Homemade Hot Cocoa Mix and Hershey's Kisses Candy Cane Mint candies. To decorate your snowman, you will need some ribbon, orange and black permanent markers or paint and a small Santa hat.
Start by filling one jar with mini marshmallows, one with hot chocolate mix and one with Hershey's Kisses Candy Cane Mint candies. Next, draw or paint the snowman face on the jar filled with marshmallows. Then, draw the buttons on the jar filled with hot chocolate mix. Now, stack your jars as shown above. Use a dab of hot glue to hold each of them in place. To finish your snowman off, tie some ribbon around the "neck" of your snowman and add the Santa hat!
How cute is this little snowman? I almost don't want to give him away!
This gift will make at least two cups of White Chocolate Peppermint Hot Chocolate! Simply mix 2 tablespoons of the cocoa mix with either hot water or milk, stir and enjoy! Add a peppermint candy or two for peppermint hot cocoa. It's so delicious that it has become my favorite afternoon winter snack! You can totally change this idea up and instead of using the Hershey's Kisses Candy Cane Mint candies, use Hershey's Milk Chocolate Chips or Hershey's Kisses Special Dark Chocolate! It's sure to be a hit with anyone that you gift it to!

What is the ratio of hot chocolate to use with water or milk to make the best cup of hot chocolate? Also how many of the candies do you use? I know I can use as many marshmallows I like per cup! Yummy!

Just updated the post...thanks for the question. I like to mix 2 tablespoons with hot water and add two peppermint kisses with a huge heap of marshmallows :) Hope you love it!
