It's summer, which means the kiddos are home and our days are filled with activities! This week are heading to the beach, which means it's going to be extra important to keep our kids hydrated and be sure that they are getting their daily nutrients. We will be spending our days on the beach, at the pool and on the golf course, and eating many meals out. One problem we run into is keeping the kid's meal somewhat well rounded and healthy, because the choices at the beach are limited. These awesome smoothies are packed with real fruits and veggies and are so convenient to make! I brought them along on vacation and stuck them in my freezer. The best part is that they are packed with fruit, vegetables and greek yogurt, and taste great...just like fruit! You can say bye bye to your blender, and let the kids join the process by making their own healthy kid's shakes!
You simply take them out of the freezer and give them a good shake, then remove the lid.
Next, you add your kid's favorite fruit juice to the fill line depending on how thick you want your shake to be.
