Cleaning your kitchen can be overwhelming…sometimes you just don’t know where to begin. Well, since starting this 30 Day Cleaning Challenge, I’ve learned that breaking cleaning chores down into small tasks works so much better! It takes away the pressure of cleaning everything at once and breaks it down into doable cleaning.

How to Clean Your Oven

Today, it’s oven cleaning day, which is so much easier than you think. It can be a bit messy, but I promise, once it’s done, you’ll be sooo much happier with your oven. To get your oven sparkling clean, check out my post showing How to Clean an Oven Naturally HERE. This post includes my 3 ingredient oven cleaning paste that works soooo good that you can use it on sinks, tubs, ovens, glass stovetops and even burned pots and pans…it’s one of my all time favorite kitchen cleaners and a must have for natural cleaning!

How to Clean in Between the Glass on Your Oven Door

If you want to get your oven super duper clean, then you may want to clean that space in between the glass on your oven door. I have to warn you though…it is tricky, and I have had a reader or two try it and break the glass, so if you decide to clean that area, do so with caution and help. HERE is my post on How to Clean in Between the Glass on Your Oven Door!

How to Clean Stove Knobs

30 Day Cleaning Challenge Day 5 – Clean Ovens and Knobs

Stove knobs and the surrounding area typically get spattered with grease and other food particles that can be hard to remove. This area sometimes gets forgotten with day to day cleaning or doesn’t get thoroughly cleaned, so you end up with a greasy, sticky film all over the knobs and surrounding area. If you really want to break up that grease and get it cleaned for good, make THIS 3 Ingredient Degreaser/Cleaner. It’s made using 2 of the same ingredients in the oven cleaning paste used above to clean your oven, and packs a major punch against grease and grime. I use it as my daily cleaning spray in the kitchen, and it smells like an orange grove!

How to Clean Your Stove Top

Cleaning your stove top can be a major pain. I have a glass/ceramic stove top, and I use the oven cleaning paste listed above…you can find it HERE! I simply use a scrub sponge to apply it to my stovetop and work it in using a circular motion. For really tough burned on areas, use a little more paste and continue to use the scrub sponge to work it into the burned on food. Use a clean cloth or paper towels to remove the paste and burned on bits from the stove. Next, spray the whole stove top with the orange degreaser from above and wipe clean…super easy!

If you have an electric stove with the coil burners, check out THIS post on how to clean them!

How to Clean a Gas Stove Top and Burners

I don’t own a gas stove since our home is all electric, but I would if I could! Oh, how I dream of the day when I can cook like a Food Network Chef on a gourmet gas range! If you have a gas stove top, check out my friend Vivian’s post on How to Clean Gas Stove Tops and Grates!
