Storage is a real issue in my smallish cottage style home, so I am always looking for any kind of storage solution. Everything needs to have a place, but I don't necessarily want to see it. This cottage style cabinet from Sauder was the perfect solution for my storage needs...and it's super cute too!
I browsed Sauder online to find the perfect solution for my storage problem in our living room. You can't see it, but across from that door (which leads to our master bedroom), there is the tiniest laundry room you've ever seen. It's tucked right under the stairs, and there is absolutely no space for anything besides laundry detergent in there. It's summer, so I really needed a place to store the towels that we use for the pool each day, instead of leaving them sitting on the washing machine. I also LOVE books, and they were beginning to pile up everywhere. Did I mention we also had no where to store blankets?
Anyhoo...I poked around Sauder online until I found this cottage inspired Storage Cabinet! As soon as it was delivered, I had to put it together...I didn't even wait for Matt to get home. I'm not even kidding, it was the easiest piece of furniture I have ever put together...the instructions were clear, all of the pieces were there, and I had my cabinet up and ready for all of my goodies in less than an hour...whoop!
As soon as it was up and together, I started filling it up! All of our blankets, my overflow of books, our beach towels and a few extra home decor items that I'm not using at this moment fit right in...and guess what? Nobody can see them. This sweet little cabinet closes right up and fits perfectly with our furniture! Shhh...don't tell ;)
