Chipotle Inspired Cilantro Lime Rice

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro
  • juice of 1 lime
  • pinch of kosher salt


  1. Bring water to a boil and add rice. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes. Once the rice is fully cooked and all of the water has been absorbed into the rice, add butter and stir while it melts. Stir in lime juice. Fold in cilantro.
