Chalkboard Rudolph Christmas Ornament - 12 Days Of Christmas Ornaments - Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of The 12 Days of Christmas Ornaments Series!  You can view all of the ornments from the series HERE (there are going to be 144 by the end)! Today I want to share a super simple but fun homemade ornament that may be one of my favorites ever! I love chalkboards, so I knew I wanted to make at least one chalkboard ornament this year. It was so easy, and so much fun too! Here is how I made my Chalkboard Rudolph Ornament...Chalkboard Rudolph Christmas Ornament - 12 Days Of Christmas Ornaments - Day 2

I started with a small deer silhouette cutout, some chalkboard paint, school glue, chalk and some red glitter. I mean, Rudolph has to have a red shiny nose of course!Chalkboard Rudolph Christmas Ornament - 12 Days Of Christmas Ornaments - Day 2

Brush on one coat of chalkboard paint.Chalkboard Rudolph Christmas Ornament - 12 Days Of Christmas Ornaments - Day 2

Once the chalkboard paint has dried, shade on a light coat of chalk, giving more detail to the edges of the deer silhouette.

Now take your glue and make a circle where Rudolph's nose would be. Sprinkle red glitter on the glue and let dry.

Once the glitter and glue have dried, hot glue some ribbon to the back to hang your ornament!

    Isn't it just the cutest?
