This summer we are enjoying having a much more laid back schedule and lots of guests too! We are really enjoying spending our mornings on the patio, and when we have guests, I really want them to enjoy it as well! If you know me, then you know that there is no way I can start my day off without my coffee and International Delight creamer, but this summer it has been hot! So, we have made the switch to iced coffee for the time being. This past weekend, we had some overnight company, and I thought it would be nice to serve a light breakfast on the patio. I got out my favorite serving tray, added a pitcher of iced coffee, some glasses with straws, a plate of bagels and some cream cheese. It was the perfect breakfast! We sat around and giggled for a while before they had to head home. They seemed quite impressed with our fancy looking breakfast. I laughed, because it literally took 5 minutes to put together...shhh...don't tell!
It's also been so nice to be able to enjoy a glass of iced coffee while getting my work done in the mornings...my favorite is the International Delight Mocha Iced Coffee! I pour a tall glass right before going through my emails and writing the day's blog posts...kind of like now! I took this photo right before I got started!
Kate found a great way to used iced coffee as well! She is having a lemonade stand to help raise money for our local animal shelter, and decided that adding iced coffee would be awesome! I mean not everyone loves lemonade, right?
