Okay…let’s talk Mother’s Day! My husband and kiddos have been asking me what I want for Mother’s Day for weeks! That is a hard question to answer. I just want to spend a stress free day with my family. I don’t need a necklace or flowers, I just want to be able to shuck my mom duties for a day. So, what do I ask for? How about the gift of clean? What if you could just relax and let your kiddos do the cleaning for you? Wouldn’t that be amazing? Thanks to Scotch and their fabulous line of cleaning supplies, that is just what I am getting! On Mother’s Day, my sweet kids have pledged to clean the house…BAM! Best. Mother’s Day. Gift. Ever!
I love this idea, because it allows your kiddos to actually do something rather than just buy something. The funny thing is that they actually seem excited about it…excited about cleaning! What???
My babies will be wiping down the counter tops with these…
Washing the dishes, and dusting too!!! Oh my goodness…I can’t even tell you how nice it is to know that I can take a day off, especially since Sunday is cleaning day in our home!
This really has me thinking…thinking about how nice it would be to have the same gift on my birthday…I mean, it’s free for the kiddos, and it teaches them that gifts aren’t necessarily things that have to be bought. The gift of clean is thoughtful, and according to a recent survey, 75% of moms would prefer a clean home on Mother’s Day to being served breakfast in bed! In addition, according to a recent Omnibus survey… 60% of moms would most prefer a clean house over gift options like candy, flowers and a card!
So, how about you? Would you prefer The Gift of Clean this Mother’s Day?
