This year, Kate and I wanted to do something fun for her classmates for Valentine’s Day.  Something different and not candy related.  We decided that gak would be fun and inexpensive, so we gave it a try.  We kicked it up a notch and added some glitter, because who doesn’t love glitter?

You will need the following materials:

8 ounces of Elmer’s Glue (white)

1 small container of Elmer’s Glitter

1 teaspoon of Borax

1/2 cup of warm water, plus water for the glue container

Food Coloring

Use Elmers Glue to make Gak Start by pouring all of the glue into a large bowl.

Your gak will start to take form!  Abandon the spoon and mush it around with your hands.  Once it has formed, hold it up and squeeze as much water out as possible.
