Ah, Spring! Time to open your blinds and windows and let the sunlight shine through! Ummm…yeah, the minute I opened my blinds and let the sun shine through, I noticed how dirty my windows were. I am not a fan of cleaning windows at all. I feel like I spray and wipe just to be met with terrible streakiness. Ugh. Well, this year, I am throwing out the store bought window cleaner and I’m going to do what my grandmother did. Her is the easiest and cheapest way to achieve no streak window cleaning…
First, you will need a spray bottle with 1/2 water and 1/2 vinegar. Add a few drops of dish soap and shake. Next you will need a white cloth. And finally, you will need some wadded up newspaper. Yep, newspaper.
Simply spray your windows down with the vinegar, water, and dish soap mixture.
Use your white cloth to wash the windows.
Then dry and buff your windows with the wadded up newspaper.
Ibbity, ibbity, that’s all folks! Seriously!
Your windows will be super clean and streak free!
