Spring Spruce Up & $100 Kirkland’s Gift Card Giveaway!

spring-home-decor-kirklands

Spring is coming…can you feel it?  I can, and as soon as I get that feeling, the spring decorating must begin.  I just get the itch, and then, BAM, I end up springing up the entire house.  Well, this year, it has been even more fun!  Kirkland’s is filled with spring decor in all of my favorite beachy colors…so let the spring decorating begin!  I started by going shopping at Kirklands, and participated in their Treausre Hunt.  Then, I began my hunt…and oh the treasures I found!

I started with the Blue Lattice Jackson Rug you see above.  It grabbed me and pulled me in immediately.  I knew it would be the perfect anchor for the room.  And it ties in perfectly with my kitchen!

After I found the rug, I knew I wanted to pull that color upward onto the table with these aqua placemats…I just love the ruffles on the sides!

There I was, leaning over to pick up the placemats when I saw this lantern…I knew immediately that I had to have it!

I mean, isn’t it just gorgeous???  The little bird and fleur de lis were the perfect little touches to go along with the lamp.

Doesn’t this vignette just scream spring?

And how pretty is the lantern when lit at night…it gives the softest glow, and just makes me smile.

I found this group of glass bottles tied with twine, and knew it would be the perfect piece to hold my antique spoon collection.

I love the blue, aqua, and white glass grouped together…and the twine adds the perfect beachy touch!

I have to say, this is probably my favorite find…a sweet little birds nest with faux eggs.

It reminds me of the new life that comes with spring…birds chirping and building nests, new buds on trees, and tulips popping up out of the ground.

Just as I was beginning to head to the register to check out, my eye was caught by some gorgeous shower curtains…I know what you are thinking…this is no bathroom.

Nope.  It’s a little sneak peek of  my office/craft nook.  And the beautiful valances and pillow are made using a shower curtain that I found near the register.

I love the pattern, and the colors were perfect for the spring look I wanted.

That’s what I love about Kirkland’s…there are goodies hidden everywhere, and they don’t cost a fortune.  Their sales are amazing, and I can honestly say, I never leave there feeling guilty or like I just blew my budget to pieces.

It is truly important to me that I get all of the bang for my buck that I can.  I am a mom on a budget after all…

So…do you want to do a little spring shopping?

Kirkland’s is offering one of you the chance to win a $100 gift card!!!

Yep…that’s right $100!

Two thoughts come to mind when looking at these pictures. First, I agree, that lamp is fabulous. Second, I’m so glad to see that you have both a beautiful and REAL home (I spy a crock pot stashed under that hutch).

Looking beautiful Jess! The sweet little bird is so cute. I’m a sucker for the tiny animal stuff. They are always the perfect addition to a vignette :) Super smart with the shower curtain too, I know the fabric ones offer a lot of yardage for a steal.
Spring has sprung at your place for sure!!
