Last week, the East Coast was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. I’m not sure how it made you feel, but I felt helpless. I was up in the middle of the night for several nights trying to figure out how I could help. I would love to make a large monetary donation…I’m sure everyone wishes they could. So, if you can’t make a monetary donation, what can you do…what can those of us that are on a budget do to help?

Love,
Jessica

What a great idea! I will do my best to get some things on the mail this week….
Great idea, you awesome girls!! My hubby is there right now helping get the power lines back up as he’s a lineman. Great cause!! :) Kristi from Lolly Jane
Well said my dear! Nice loving post.. love it! Laura is one big sweetie!!
Jessica, I’m sending YOU 1000 giant hugs for sharing this with your readers! I appreciate it sooooo much!
And I love that Kristi’s hubby is in the area helping out. That’s been one of the neatest things to see: all the ambulances, electric trucks, and other support vehicles from different parts of the country. Reaffirms how much good there really is out there!
Such a great cause!….will be sending socks this week!!!
Wonderful idea!! I love how people come together and help each other out. We live in western NY state so we felt the weather but only a bit of power outages. My thoughts and prayers to those in need.
I have plenty of socks to send that are used, clean and in good condition. Are those acceptable? I hope that’s not a dumb question but I don’t have money to send and would love to still help in some way. Thanks for posting this important cause!
