Paint A Polka Dot Pitcher

I love polka dots…a lot!  But, I am not a little girl, so I try to keep them to a minimum around our house.  Well, this year, when I was starting my crazy Fall decorating, I knew I wanted to incorporate some black and white polka dots, but it had to be subtle.  So, I decided to try and paint a white pitcher that I had with some DecoArt glass paint.  I love the way it turned out, and it was honestly one of the easiest things I have created!  Here is how I did it…

I started with an inexpensive plain white pitcher.

I squirted some black frosted glass paint in mini cupcake wrapper and grapped my 1/2 inch paint dauber.

I simply dipped the dauber into the paint…not too much…then placed it on the pitcher.  I turned it just a little to make sure that the paint sticks to the pitcher.  Then, let dry…too easy!

I did not try to make my polka dots perfect, but did try to space them evenly.  I ended up making two of them.  One for my Fall Mantel

And one for my Fall Tablescape.

I’m still impressed with how straight you got them! I kind of want one of those little paint dabbers now, just in case I get the urge to go polka dotty one day! :)
