Okay…crazy organizing lady over here right now!
Every year, right before school starts, I go into a crazy organizing frenzy. Like tailspin crazy. I have been cleaning out closets, organizing the kids rooms, making lists, buying school supplies, and now getting my schedule together. I usually just keep a planner on my desk, but lately, I have been forgetting things. It’s been like this for a while, and it brings on a ton of guilt. I say yes to everything, which is a real problem right now. I have said yes to so many things that I can’t keep up. I am learning to say no a little more, and to put the focus on my family first, blog second. Time to get myself organized!
I decided it would be best to have something on my desk where I can write things down as soon as I schedule them. I don’t want a calendar on my desk, and I don’t want a white dry erase board either…picky, picky! I want something pretty that blends in with the rest of the room. I have made this dry erase board and this dry erase board. One of them sits on my craft room, and one was swiped by a friend that just had to have it. So, I had to make myself a new one.
It’s so easy, I won’t bore you with the pictures…simply take the picture out of an old frame, replace the picture with some pretty scrapbook paper or fabric, and start writing with an expo or chalk marker! I ruffed up my frame a bit to make it a little shabby. Seriously, so simple, and completely customizable! You can switch out the design as often as you like…I plan on finding some pretty Fall paper for mine next month!
As you can see, we are super busy in our home right now…all good things, though! How about you? How do you keep everything in check?

Due to having some of my content and posts stolen by no good lazy people who don’t do their own projects, I am sorry to have to truncate (shorten) my feeds. Please don’t hold it against me, and continue reading, because I do love you and want to share my tutorials with you ;)
Love,
Jessica
