As soon as it starts getting hot here in Kentucky, I get major beach fever. I have a love for all things coastal, and have been dying for these silver starfish from LAFAYETTE & RUSHFORD. I searched for something similar when we were in Hilton Head, but didn’t find anything.
One evening we walked into a shop while waiting for dinner, and I spotted these cute little glass starfish paperweights. They were $1 each, so I grabbed 6! I thought, hmmm…why not spraypaint them?
So, I brought them home, and spraypaint them I did.
They aren’t exactly the same, but I love them!!!
You can’t tell they are spray painted at all.
They have a lovely new home on the corner of my Blue Chalk Painted Desk!
I swear, spraypaint can fix anything!!!

Spraypaint is to tchotchkes as lip gloss is to me! A little spray paint can make any ugly old find seem like a million – here’s to the beach!
