This weekend was so wonderful, but now I seriously need an extra weekend to recover. We spent Friday evening with some of our closest friends, I got to snuggle baby Mason for the longest time, while enjoying a glass of wine, or maybe two, with two of my best girlfriends. The boys bonded in the garage, and Kate got to play with one of her best girls, BG, all evening long! What could be better than that? Well, how about a concert? Saturday, Kate and I joined some other good friends and headed to the Taylor Swift concert! We had an absolute blast! We started out with dinner at Bellini’s, where all of the wait staff were dressed up in Halloween costumes. Kate and KP loved the Peacock and Katy Perry! After dinner, we headed to Rupp Arena for the concert! It was absolutely amazing!!! I have been to many concerts, but this one took the cake! Taylor had several costume and background changes that coordinated with her songs, and made the concert so unique. Kate and KP sang and danced and had the best time ever. Taylor did keep apologizing, saying that she has been on voice rest and that her vocals were not up to par, but we sure couldn’t tell. She sounded fabulous! She truly is a sweet girl, and a terrific role model for our young girls!

Her opening acts, David Nail and Need To Breathe, were fantastic as well! The night was absolutely perfect! Kate’s favorite song was Speak Now, and mine was Mean. I can honestly say, that I can’t wait to take her to another T-Swizzle concert! Next time, we may even drag Dad and Cam along!
