I am sitting at my desk, writing this post, surrounded by most of my living room furniture. This is crazy weird! We are having new carpet installed today, so I thought it would be fun to do a before and after kind of post. Today, I will show you my living room before, and next week, you can see the after…sounds fun, huh?
Our stairs, completely stripped of carpet…that was a hideous job!

All of my knick knacks and lamps in the garage…looks like a garage sale!
Most of my living room furniture crammed into my kitchen…this is totally freaking me out!
Everyone keeps telling me that the new carpet will completely change the look of our living room, and I can’t wait to see how it turns out! Check back in next week to see the results!!!

I hate ripping out carpet, it is such a messy job! I found so many razor blades left behind under our carpet, too. I’ve never had to strip the stairs, though. Good luck! My husband still has a couple more hours to go installing some lights in the attic and then we can drywall it :)

I think they’re right that new carpet will probably make the room look completely different. Cant wait to see the results.
